The Shockmite was a service bot, repairing and performing regular maintenance on its fellow machine brethren and anything else that needed fixing. After the energy vents' appearance, however, the Shockmite was forced to fight in order to keep things from breaking. According to this machine, fighting solves nothing and breaks everything, and it hates that! As much as a robot can hate, anyway. The Shockmite's size helps it in combat, using its giant horn to attack. Thanks in part to the large energy conduit on its back, it can also absorb energy from the surrounding area and use it to keep working (or fighting) for long stretches of time.
